Deleting your Liao account

You can permanently delete your account and its data from inside the app.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Liao and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your account credentials and profile
  • Your conversation history and transcripts
  • Your personalized learning records and saved phrases
  • Your streak and lesson progress

Deletion completes within 30 days. Certain security, transaction, or legal records may be retained where required by law, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your Liao account does not cancel an active subscription billed by Apple. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or Apple will continue to charge you.
